We've been 'on the road' for 22 hours and an extended delay in LAX has not dampened our spirits. American Airlines has experienced a system failure, resulting in all flights since mid morning being grounded. As they keep announcing flights which have been cancelled, we hold our breath! Thankfully are flight hasn't been cancelled, just on-going delays. As we write, the system has been restored and there was much cheering in the terminal.
We've snoozed en masse on the floor of the airport, moved to a new gate and perfected moving as a group. We number off beautifully and efficiently, easily accounting for all of our group. The group is happy and keen to get to San Francisco!
And we are boarding!! Yay. It will be good to finally arrive at our destination.
